Episode 4

The Serial Podcast number four deals with the inconstancies of Jay during his statements. When you listen to all the varieties of Jays statements, you ask yourself, what does he really know. Like Sarah said, there were way to many facts that he has to be sure of, but he changes them in every interrogation. So is he hiding something? What is also strange in my eyes is, that he said that he helped Adnan burying the body and not call the police because of his small criminal things. I mean what is worse? Try to hide a body and have a bad feeling for the rest of your life or go to prison for a couple of months because of dealing with drugs.
The information from the person Jenn, that Adnan and Jay buried the dead body, I can’t take serious as well, because she also got information from Jay.
For me there are still only two statements that are in conflict with each other. The one from Adnan who doesn’t remember nearly anything and the ones from Jays that are changing from time to time. In my opinion Adnan is still innocent, because the key to the whole story is still missing.

Episode 3

The third episode of the Serial Podcast is all about the man named Mr. S., who found the body of Hay in the Leakin Park. There is hardly any information that proves whether Adnan is guilty or not. So instead I am thinking about the possibility that Mr. S. could be the murderer. In short words: No, I don’t think so. There were some strange circumstances, for example that he walked 127 feet into the woods for doing his business and the fact that the body was nearly impossible to spot, but on the other hand, why would a murderer take such a high risk and show the police the place of the dead body by himself.
I completely understand why he didn’t want to talk with Sarah about the case. I mean he had enough trouble with it already, so he doesn’t want to get involved again.
So in my opinion Sarah hasn’t done a step forward to solve the case.

Episode 2

In the second episode of the Serial Podcast you mainly get information about the relationship between Adnan and Hayman. After listening to parts of Hays diary you get the impression that it was a completely normal relationship. Okay, they had difficulties because of the religion of their families, but all in all it seemed to me that there were no big problems. Also that Hay ended the relationship before Christmas doesn’t seem to have been a big problem for Adnan. He also confirms that during the regularly telephone calls with Sarah.
More interesting is the fact that he bought a cell phone just two days before the murder. Maybe he bought it for the plan to kill her, maybe it was just a silly coincidence. But that fact alone can’t change my opinion that he is innocent.
What made me skeptical is the question if he asked Hay to pick him up after school or not. The first cop Adnan told that he asked her, the second cop that he didn’t do it. Some friends again said he did it. What should you believe? I say it with the last words of Sarah: Maybe he is hiding something.

Episode 1

After listening to the first episode of the Serial Podcast, I am not of the opinion that Adnan is guilty, though there is few information. I believe that because everybody except his former friend Jay says, that Adnan is a good person and it’s even ridiculous that he could be a murderer. I can’t imagine that Adnan killed Hay because she broke up with him. Everybody says that Adnan had no big problem with the situation.
Another fact, that maybe proves Adnan’s innocence, is the information from Asia McLane and her boyfriend, who are pretty sure that they saw Adnan in the library at the time, when the murder happened.
All in all I think that Jays statement in front of the police officer was a big lie, because it shows a completely different side of Adnan that appears to be unreal.

Episode 3

After listening to episode 3 I'm still unsure whether Adnan is innocent or not. Hae's body was found in the Leakin Park by a man who is called Mr S. If I understand it right some people don't know where the park exactly is. I think it is scary that there is a park where a lot of dead bodys laid or were found.
Apart from that I would say that Mr S. told the truth and he had nothing do to with this murder. He found her by accident and it doesn't matter how he found her body.

Episode 2:

This episode is about the relationship between Adnan and Hae. The relationship was secret. The parents didn't know something about that because of their Religion they aren't allowed to have a relationship. Adnan and Hae were happy in their relationship. It had some off-times for 2-3 days but after a short time they met and tried the relationship again. In this episode some friends and relatives were asked about this relationship and the reaction of Adnan after Hae ended this. He was hurt but everyone is hurt after the ending of a relationship and I think Adnan isn't guilty because he wasn't  so extremly hurt that he can kills her.
Episode 1:
It's a very difficult and interesting case. At first I thought that won't be so difficult and the murderer is Adnan. The stories of Adnan and Jay are different. Jay had two stories about this day and I think this is a signal that he can be the murderer. The police chose a easy way to find out the murderer. They know the time in which Hae was killed and then they looked for the ex-boyfriend. They asked friends of him ih they know where Adnan was at this day. Nobody knows where Adnan was at killing time so the police caught Adnan and he had no chance to show that he is innocent. I'm very interested in this case and I hope she'll solve the case and Adnan is innocent.
